Hélène Fauquet holds solo exhibition at Lafayette Anticipations

Artist Hélène Fauquet is presenting Vivresse, her first institutional solo exhibition in France, at the Lafayette Anticipations art centre in Paris. The exhibition, which runs from October 19, 2026, to January 3, 2026, features works that blend natural and artificial elements.

The collection includes small sculptures consisting of silver-plated or pearl-studded frames containing seashells, such as conches and bivalves. Fauquet describes the exhibition title as an invented contraction of the French words vivre and ivresse, suggesting an exaltation of living. Her assemblages, which include photographs, bubbles, and shells, are inspired by semi-dreamlike states and aim to create objects that exist between the familiar and the uncanny.
