Hălăucești: Man dies after falling into well while rescuing colleague

A 28-year-old man died in Hălăucești, Iași county, after falling into a well while attempting to rescue a colleague. The colleague, a 31-year-old man, had also fallen into the well but was extracted by emergency services conscious and without requiring medical intervention.

SMURD and ambulance crews performed resuscitation efforts on the 28-year-old, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police and forensic specialists from the Institute of Legal Medicine are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
