H&M expands into Brazil's Northeast with new stores

H&M is expanding its presence in Brazil by entering the Northeast region. The brand will inaugurate its first store in the region at RioMar Recife on November 5, featuring approximately 1,800 m² of space for women, men, and children's fashion.

Following the Recife opening, a second unit is scheduled for RioMar Fortaleza on November 24. This location will span approximately 2,330 m² and will include the H&M Home line. This expansion marks the company's first move outside of the South and Southeast regions of Brazil, as part of a long-term strategy to build a national presence. The company aims to have 13 physical stores open by the end of 2026.
