H&M opens its southernmost store in Punta Arenas, Chile

H&M has officially opened its newest store in Punta Arenas, Chile, marking the brand’s southernmost location. The opening at Mall Espacio Urbano Pionero drew significant crowds, with hundreds of customers queuing from the early morning hours to participate in the launch.

To celebrate the opening, the company distributed gift cards to several customers, including the first three people in line who received $100,000 cards, and the next 200 customers who received $18,000 cards.

Gabriela Vargas, H&M’s Marketing and Communication Manager for Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Paraguay, described the expansion into Punta Arenas as a major milestone for the company. The new establishment aims to provide a wide range of clothing styles and seasonal trends at competitive prices. H&M currently operates 31 stores in Chile.
