HMD Global introduces Nokia 300 Charge feature phone

HMD Global has introduced the Nokia 300 Charge, a new feature phone designed to revive the philosophy of simplicity and durability associated with the legendary Nokia 1100. The device features a 3,700 mAh removable battery, which is the largest HMD has installed in this category, offering up to 37 hours of talk time and over 40 days of standby time.

A standout feature of the Nokia 300 Charge is its ‘powerbank mode’. Using a USB-C cable, the phone can transfer up to 10 watts of power to other devices, acting as an emergency power source for smartphones or wireless accessories.

The release aligns with a growing trend of ‘dumb phones’ as users seek to reduce screen time and avoid constant digital notifications. This follows the legacy of the Nokia 1100, which sold over 250 million units and became known for its extreme reliability and long battery life.
