HMD unveils Vibe2 Pro smartphone in India

HMD has officially unveiled the Vibe2 Pro smartphone in India, positioning it as an affordable 5G option. The device features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a resolution upgrade over the standard Vibe 2.

Under the hood, the Vibe2 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is available in configurations with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD slot. The phone includes a 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging.

For photography, the device utilizes a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor paired with a 2MP macro camera, and a front-facing camera for selfies. The software is based on Android 16, though HMD noted there will be no major operating system upgrades during its lifecycle. The phone will be available through Flipkart starting October 8.
