HMPDJ medical teams coordinate dual emergency helicopter transports
On September 25, the Helicopter Medical Assistance of Osijek-Baranja County (HMPDJ) successfully coordinated the emergency transport of two patients simultaneously. Dr. Dragan Slijepčević adjusted the flight plan after receiving two urgent requests in a short timeframe.
The first patient, suffering from acute chest pain and myocardial infarction symptoms in Orahovica, was transported to the helidrome at Slavonski Brod General Hospital. There, the patient received urgent cardiac care at the hospital's PCI center.
The second patient was picked up from the Slavonski Brod helidrome and transported to the University Hospital Centre (KBC) Osijek for further treatment at the Institute for Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery.
