Hồng Thanh transitions to simple lifestyle after selling luxury assets

Vietnamese actor and 2017 'Cười xuyên Việt' champion Hồng Thanh has undergone a significant lifestyle shift following financial challenges. After previously showcasing a luxury lifestyle featuring a Mercedes-Benz C300 AMG, Rolex watches, and high-end designer clothing, the actor revealed in a recent livestream that he has sold most of his valuable assets.

Addressing his change in circumstances, Hồng Thanh explained that his previous reliance on luxury goods created undue pressure. He noted that owning expensive items like a Mercedes required significant maintenance and bank payments that did not align with his earnings, while wearing luxury watches caused constant anxiety over potential damage or loss. He stated, "Now I wear a shirt worth 100,000–200,000 VND and I am comfortable; if it gets lost or ruined, it doesn't matter."

Currently, the actor has transitioned to a much simpler life, including making stone-encrusted paintings to earn a living while waiting for suitable entertainment projects. He clarified that he has not retired from the entertainment industry but is focused on managing his finances more practically.
