HNK BSK Slavonski Brod football club officially introduced

HNK BSK Slavonski Brod has been officially introduced as a new football project in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. The club is being established on the foundations of NK Vinogorac and will take over its competitive status to continue competing in the Treća NL Istok this season.

Club president Marko Krijan and manager Mario Jurković emphasized that the project's primary focus is the development of a robust youth academy. The club currently has 192 children enrolled in 11 competitive categories and one non-competitive category. The long-term goal is to create a structured system that allows local talent to remain in the city and eventually compete in the top tiers of Croatian football.

The initiative is supported by a group of local entrepreneurs, sports professionals, and community members. While there has been local speculation regarding the project's impact on existing clubs like Marsonija, club leadership stated that their goal is not to shut down other clubs but to build a sustainable sporting institution for the entire community.
