HNK Gorica signs French midfielder Tom Lacoux

HNK Gorica has officially signed 24-year-old French midfielder Tom Lacoux. The defensive midfielder joins the Croatian top-flight club from the Hungarian side Újpest.

Lacoux brings significant European experience to the squad, having previously played in France's Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, the Portuguese Primeira Liga, and the Hungarian championship. He began his career in the Girondins de Bordeaux academy, where he served as the U-19 captain, and later played for Famalicão on loan.

This transfer comes as Gorica seeks to strengthen its midfield following four losses at the start of the season. The arrival of Lacoux has also raised questions regarding the potential transfer of Arijan Ademi, as the signing of Lacoux may reduce the likelihood of Ademi joining the club.
