Hönnetal organizers plan bicycle demonstration for new cycle path

Organizers have announced the fourth bicycle demonstration to advocate for the construction of the Hönnetal cycle path. The event, scheduled for Sunday, October 4, will involve a ride from Oberrödinghausen to Balve and back.

Proponents aim to highlight the need for a continuous, safe, and attractive cycling connection between regional towns and municipalities. The proposed path is intended to link the RuhrtalRadweg and Lenneradweg, potentially serving as a major regional project to boost daily commuting and bicycle tourism. The demonstration will include speeches from local officials and representatives from the ADFC federal association.
