Ho Chi Minh City authorities survey suspected burial site of martyr Nguyen Thi Minh Khai

The Ho Chi Minh City Command has requested the Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee to conduct a survey and verify a location believed to be the burial site of martyr Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. This action follows a petition from Le Nguyen Hong Minh, the daughter of the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong and martyr Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.

In her petition, Ms. Minh expressed a desire for authorities to confirm the burial location and establish a memorial plan. The verification process is currently in the stage of collecting documents and conducting field surveys based on information provided by the family. No official conclusion regarding the burial site has been reached yet.

If the location is confirmed, the Ho Chi Minh City Command will propose that the Department of Culture and Sports lead a coordination effort with relevant agencies to advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on implementing memorial measures in accordance with regulations.
