Ho Chi Minh City Business Association rebrands as Federation

The Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) has officially rebranded as the Ho Chi Minh City Business Federation following its first delegate congress for the 2026-2031 term. The reorganization aims to expand the organization's representative scope and strengthen connections between various industry associations, clubs, and the broader business community.

During the congress, Mai Huu Tin, Chairman and General Director of U&I Investment Joint Stock Company, was elected as the new Chairman of the Federation. The new Executive Board consists of 93 members, while the Inspection Committee includes 7 members.

The transition marks a strategic shift in the organization's role. Rather than merely reflecting business difficulties to authorities, the Federation is expected to actively participate in policy creation and implementation. Leadership emphasized the need to transform business feedback into actionable data to help the government design more effective regulations and reduce operational costs.
