Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy merges two institutions and appoints new director

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has announced the merger of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies and the Ly Tu Trong Youth Union School into the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy. This restructuring aims to streamline the organizational apparatus and enhance the capacity for training and fostering cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

As part of the reorganization, Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, formerly the Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, has been appointed Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy for a five-year term. Pham Ngoc Loi has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Academy.

The Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy operates as a public non-business unit under the direct leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. It is managed by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics regarding training content and by the Ministry of Education and Training for university and postgraduate education.
