Ho Chi Minh City celebrates 50 years with community identity initiative

One Central Saigon has launched the “Our Beloved Ho Chi Minh City” initiative to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city being named after Ho Chi Minh. The program aims to honor the city's identity and the generations that have shaped it, coinciding with the celebrations of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

Hosted at 23/9 Park, the event utilizes interactive technology, including 360-degree LED cubes and touchscreens, to offer a multi-dimensional exploration of the city's architecture, daily life, and cultural heritage. The initiative also featured a storytelling competition, “Write a Story, a City,” co-organized with Znews, which received over 1,000 entries from the community.
