Ho Chi Minh City charity provides 2 billion VND to terminally ill patients

The Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company, has provided over 2 billion VND in financial support and gifts to 400 terminally ill patients facing extreme hardship.

On October 21, each recipient received 5 million VND in cash along with a gift valued at 210,000 VND. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden of long-term medical treatment for vulnerable individuals and their families.

Attendees at the event included high-ranking city officials, such as Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. The program highlights the community's efforts to provide both material and spiritual support to those struggling with severe illnesses and economic instability.
