Ho Chi Minh City chefs launch global culinary program

Four chefs from prominent Ho Chi Minh City restaurants—The Brix, Mekong Merchant, Fume, and Saigon Café—are participating in a culinary program at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel through November 29. The initiative, a special edition of Flavorhood Season 2, aims to refresh visitor experiences, encourage longer stays, and increase tourist spending in the city.

The program features themed weeks showcasing Mediterranean, European, Italian, and Japanese cuisines. During the final week, from November 23 to 29, all four chefs will cook together to conclude the event. Participating chefs include Phong Nguyen, Jay Taylor, Ivan Barone, and Shozo Tsuruhara, who will present signature dishes at dedicated stations within Saigon Café.
