Ly Minh Tam, a 33-year-old GrabBike driver, has worked with the platform for ten years. He uses his daily earnings to cover household expenses and medical costs for his ailing mother. Similarly, 27-year-old single mother Ha Ngoc Nhu transitioned from corporate employment to ride-hailing to gain the flexibility needed to care for her two-year-old daughter. For Nhu, the income from Grab serves as a primary source for rent, food, and childcare expenses.
