Ho Chi Minh City expands health exams, covering 37% in Phước Thắng and base areas
The Phước Thắng ward in Ho Chi Minh City screened 19,694 residents, representing nearly 37 % of its population and topping the city’s 168 districts in health‑check coverage. The programme was driven by direct involvement of local party leaders, weekly coordination meetings, and mobilisation of political and community networks.
On 25 July, a medical team from Military Hospital 7A departed for the city’s revolutionary base areas to provide free examinations and health advice. The deployment, timed to commemorate the 79th anniversary of Veterans Day, was endorsed by senior city officials and the Front‑line Committee. It aimed to strengthen ties between the armed forces and residents while expanding public‑health services in those zones.
