Ho Chi Minh City hospitals launch specialized Sports Medicine Unit

Gia An 115 Hospital and City International Hospital, both part of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Medical Zone, have officially launched a specialized Sports Medicine Unit. Located at Gia An 115 Hospital, the unit focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions related to physical activities.

The launch coincided with a scientific seminar titled ‘Connecting Sports - Living Healthy Every Day - Pickleball and Life.’ The event addressed the rising demand for musculoskeletal care driven by the popularity of sports such as running, badminton, football, and pickleball. The unit aims to provide comprehensive care for both amateur enthusiasts and professional athletes, ensuring safe functional recovery and a return to physical activity.

Experts and medical professionals, including representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Medicine Association, participated in the seminar to discuss trends in safe movement, injury prevention, and proactive health management.
