Ho Chi Minh City international school tuition to reach $38,000
Tuition fees at international schools in Ho Chi Minh City are projected to reach nearly VND 1 billion ($38,000) for the 2026-27 academic year, according to a review of fee schedules. These figures exclude additional costs such as admission, development fees, meals, and transportation.
The British International School Ho Chi Minh City (BIS HCMC) currently maintains the highest tuition rates among surveyed institutions. For the 2026-27 year, Year 13 tuition is expected to be approximately $38,300, representing a 4.5% increase from the previous year. Year 2 tuition is set at roughly $28,400, up 4.9%.
At the International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC), Grade 12 tuition will reach approximately $37,900, while Grade 1 tuition will be about $26,900. Both represent a 3% increase. ISHCMC also applies an annual development fee of roughly $2,600 and an admission fee of $1,900. The school noted that tuition covers textbooks, uniforms, and certain personal devices like iPads or MacBooks.
South Saigon International School (SSIS) has also listed fees for the 2026-27 period, with rates for Grades 11-12 reaching approximately $924,546,000 VND.
