Ho Chi Minh City records 200,000 concert attendees
Ho Chi Minh City experienced a record-breaking surge in live music attendance on October 17 and 18, with at least 200,000 people attending various performances featuring nearly 100 artists.
Major highlights included the 'Tinh ha say hi' and 'Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai' concerts, which drew approximately 150,000 spectators to the Van Phuc Urban Area and Global City. Both shows reached capacities of 35,000 to 40,000 people per night and sold out within hours. Other notable events included the HCMC Youth Concert at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, a solo concert by Phung Khanh Linh at Phu Tho Stadium attracting 7,000 fans, and performances by Tiffany Young and Hong Nhung.
This unprecedented concentration of events, including four major concerts occurring on the same day, is being viewed as a significant positive indicator for the Vietnamese performing arts industry and the local concert market.
