Ho Chi Minh City to host 2027 I CAN Children’s Global Summit

Ho Chi Minh City has been announced as the host for the ‘I CAN Children’s Global Summit - Be The Change 2027’. The five-day event is expected to bring together approximately 500 children, teachers, educators, and international representatives from the global Design For Change network.

The summit will focus on five core pillars: child-led participation, stories of change, educator exchanges, cultural and daily-life experiences in Ho Chi Minh City, and the continued development of post-event commitments. Unlike traditional conferences, children will actively present projects, exchange ideas, and co-create content.

Participants will utilize the FIDS methodology, a four-step creative thinking process consisting of Feel (identifying issues), Imagine (proposing solutions), Do (taking action), and Share (communicating results). Design For Change Vietnam, also known as Tomato Education, will serve as the lead organizer, with the Ho Chi Minh City Young Business Association acting as a strategic partner and co-organizer.
