Ho Chi Minh City to host Autumn Economic Forum 2026

The Autumn Economic Forum 2026 (AEF 2026) is scheduled to take place from October 26 to 29 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), the event expects to host over 1,500 domestic and international delegates.

The forum will focus on the theme “Convergence of New Global Growth Poles” and the topic “Spirit of Cooperation in a New Era.” Key strategic pillars include the role of megacities, breakthrough technologies and innovation ecosystems, new cooperation models, and the pioneering role of the private sector. The program includes 16 thematic sessions, 21 high-level discussions, and approximately 300 presentations by experts and scientists.

International participation is significant, with 22 international delegations and 11 international organizations—including the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, and European Union—confirmed to attend. Additionally, representatives from seven global C4IR centers (including France, Germany, Malaysia, UAE, South Korea, South Africa, and Kazakhstan) and approximately 160 science and technology innovation centers are expected. The event will also feature the CEO 500 program and the GRECO 2026 green growth exhibition.
