Ho Chi Minh exhibitions open in Laos and Vietnam

Two separate exhibitions honoring President Ho Chi Minh have opened in Laos and Vietnam to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

In Vientiane, Laos, the Vietnam Cultural Center and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum co-organized the exhibition ‘Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a Man’. The event features 50 paintings by the late overseas Vietnamese artist Dao Trong Ly, which depict various stages of Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career.

In Hue, Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum opened a thematic exhibition titled ‘President Ho Chi Minh with Historical Milestones of 1946’. This exhibition showcases over 250 precious documents, images, and artifacts. It focuses on four main themes: the building and protection of the revolutionary government, Ho Chi Minh’s diplomatic efforts, the national resistance movement, and the development of Hue.
