Ho-Chunk Nation opens largest Wisconsin casino in Beloit

The Ho-Chunk Nation has officially opened Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit, marking the first completed phase of a $705 million resort development project. Located near the Illinois border, the facility is the tribe’s largest gaming property in Wisconsin and its seventh gaming location in the state.

The casino floor features more than 1,300 slot machines, including 48 Novomatic gaming machines, and over 40 table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat. The property also includes various dining and entertainment venues, including a steakhouse, a pub house, and a coffee shop.

The project is the result of decades of planning, with land acquisition efforts beginning in the 1990s. Following federal approval of the land in 2022, construction commenced to realize the multi-phase development, which is expected to eventually create 1,500 jobs.
