Ho Dac Thanh Chuong: Life of the record-breaking Olympia champion

Ho Dac Thanh Chuong, the record-breaking champion of the 16th season of the academic competition ‘Duong Len Dinh Olympia’, remains a notable figure ten years after his victory. In 2016, the then 17-year-old student from Hue achieved a historic score of 340 points, a record that has not been surpassed in the program's 25 seasons.

Following his win, which included a $35,000 prize, Thanh Chuong moved to Australia to study software engineering at Swinburne University of Technology. During his time as an international student, he worked various part-time jobs, including roles as a waiter and kitchen assistant, and later worked as a tutor. He has since transitioned into a professional career, including a role at Google.
