Hoà Minzy’s Management Warns Fans of Impersonation Scam

HMZ Entertainment, the company that manages Vietnamese singer Hoà Minzy, issued a public warning on July 30 that fraudsters have been creating fake fanpages and a bank account named “Minzy Entertainment” to deceive her followers. The company clarified that it conducts no direct sales, money‑transfer, or gift‑receiving activities and operates solely under the HMZ Entertainment name from Ho Chi Minh City.

Hoà Minzy herself reposted the alert, stating that the comment sections of the official fanpage have been flooded with spam and seeding content from automated accounts, complicating fans’ ability to receive accurate information. The warning highlights a broader surge in celebrity impersonation on social media, where impostors exploit a public figure’s reputation to solicit money from unsuspecting supporters.

Fans are advised to remain vigilant, avoid making payments through unofficial channels, and report any suspicious pages or accounts to the authorities.
