Ho Technical University partners with Praise Export to boost student training

Ho Technical University (HTU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Praise Export Services Ltd. to enhance practical training and employment opportunities for students. The partnership, formalized in a ceremony in Ho, aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry through increased collaboration.

Praise Export Services Ltd. is a Ghanaian company with operations spanning agriculture, agro-processing, export, hospitality, and eco-tourism. The agreement will support HTU’s experiential learning model, specifically its full-semester industrial attachment programme. Under the deal, students will be placed within the company to gain hands-on experience.

In addition to industrial attachments, the partnership is expected to facilitate industrial visits, internships, national service placements, and professional career development for both students and staff. HTU Vice-Chancellor Prof Ben Honyenuga noted that the collaboration is a strategic step toward strengthening industry links, while Praise Export CEO Godwin Edem Adordie expressed a commitment to reducing the gap between academic study and industry requirements.
