Hoa Binh Province plans sustainable tourism development

Hoa Binh Province is planning to adjust the general planning for the Hoa Binh National Tourism Area through 2035, with an orientation toward 2050. The initiative aims to expand development space and enhance resource value to foster green and sustainable tourism.

The Hoa Binh Lake region features a diverse ecosystem with approximately 8,000 hectares of water surface and nearly 50 islands. The area offers significant potential for eco-tourism, wellness retreats, and water sports. Additionally, the presence of Muong, Dao, Tay, Thai, and Kinh ethnic communities provides a rich cultural foundation for identity-based tourism products, including spiritual tourism linked to local landmarks and caves.
