Hoa Phat Group and Vale sign human resource development agreement
Hoa Phat Group and Vale, the world's largest producer of iron ore and nickel, have signed a new cooperation agreement to mark 10 years of partnership. During a recent visit by Vale executives, including CEO Gustavo Duarte Pimenta, the two companies agreed to implement a human resource development program focused on materials engineering for Vietnam's metallurgy industry.
Vale has been a long-term partner for Hoa Phat since 2016, providing millions of tons of high-quality ore annually to support stable production. The discussions between leadership from both companies also covered global steel industry trends, advancements in metallurgical technology, and solutions for fuel efficiency and carbon emission reduction.
Hoa Phat currently operates as Southeast Asia's largest steel producer with an annual capacity of 16 million tons, driving a significant demand for high-quality human resources in the technical and materials engineering sectors.
