Hoan Kiem Lake to host “Dải lụa ký ức” art installation
The “Dải lụa ký ức” (Silk Ribbon of Memory) art installation is currently being finalized near Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi. The project is scheduled to be open to the public from October 8 to December 2.
Located along Le Thai To Street and the western banks of the lake, the installation features a winding landscape walkway designed to weave through existing greenery to minimize impact on tree roots. Key elements include mirror frames that create visual effects, a lighting system, and “Hoan Kiem viewing balconies” that offer perspectives of the lake and Turtle Tower.
According to the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee, the project is being implemented through socialized funding. It commemorates the 72nd anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and serves as a precursor to Vietnam Culture Day on November 24.
