Hoan Kiem Lake unveils new artistic lighting project

A new artistic lighting project has been inaugurated around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi to enhance the urban landscape and highlight the area's historical heritage. The project, inaugurated by the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee on August 28, utilizes a multi-layered lighting script designed to connect various landmarks into a unified visual experience.

The lighting sequence begins at the banyan tree near the Swiss Clock area and spreads across the lake surface, embankments, greenery, and surrounding streets. Key historical sites, including the Turtle Tower, Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge, Hoa Phong Tower, Ba Kieu Temple, and the Pen Tower, are central to this light journey.

To reflect the changing seasons, the lighting at the Turtle Tower adjusts its hue: warm yellow for winter, cool white for summer, and neutral tones for spring and autumn. Other areas use colors to evoke seasonal changes, such as pink for spring blossoms and red for summer flowers. Additionally, Gobo Mapping technology is used on pedestrian streets to project images inspired by nature, science, and traditional culture into the urban space.
