Hoang Anh Gia Lai reports 7,500 tons of durian production

Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) reported a significant increase in durian production, reaching 7,500 tons in the first nine months of 2026. This figure is nearly double the total production recorded for the entire year of 2025.

The company manages approximately 2,500 hectares of durian plantations located primarily in Gia Lai, Vietnam, and Laos, focusing on the Musang King and Monthong varieties. While the Gia Lai harvest typically peaks in August and September, the plantations in Laos are expected to provide additional yields during their natural off-season harvest in October and November.

HAGL’s cultivation follows GlobalG.A.P. standards and includes registered planting area codes to facilitate official exports, with China serving as the primary target market. The company also has new durian areas in Cambodia that have not yet entered the production phase.
