Politburo issues new discipline regulations for Party organizations and members

The Politburo has issued Regulation No. 212-QĐ/TW, signed by Standing member Trần Cẩm Tú, establishing new disciplinary rules for Party organizations and members in Vietnam.

The regulation emphasizes that all Party organizations and members are equal before discipline. It mandates that violations of Party guidelines or State laws must be addressed through timely, accurate, and public disciplinary actions. The rules apply to a wide range of entities, including dissolved or merged organizations, as well as members who are missing, deceased with serious violations, or residing abroad.

Key provisions include the principle that a single violation results in only one disciplinary action. If multiple violations occur simultaneously, the highest disciplinary form will be applied. The new regulation also specifically addresses violations related to science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
