Hobby Japan to release chibi character pose guide in September 2026

Hobby Japan has announced the release of a new drawing guide titled ‘Quickly Draw ‘Kawaii’! Chibi Character Base Pose Collection: Cute 2-Head Proportions & Movable 3-Head Proportions’. The book is scheduled for release in bookstores nationwide on September 18, 2026.

Created by mini-character creator and illustrator Mebu Sakiga, the collection features approximately 400 themed poses specifically designed for 2-head and 3-head chibi character production. The content includes basic movements, emotional expressions, daily poses, action poses, duo poses, and icon-ready poses.

The materials are trace-free, and the book includes exclusive download bonuses for purchasers. It is intended for both professional and amateur artists to use as a reference for character creation.
