Hochschule Fulda students earn IT security certifications
Thirty students from Hochschule Fulda have completed a two-week intensive training program focused on cyber and information security through the #SecurityCampusGelnhausen initiative. The program, which is held in cooperation with DE-bit Computerservice GmbH, the City of Gelnhausen, and Bildungspartner Main-Kinzig GmbH, aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
Upon passing their examinations, the students earned professional certifications including ‘IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker’ and ‘BCM-Praktiker’. These qualifications adhere to the standards set by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The project, led by Prof. Dr. Michael Zohner, is currently in its second year and serves to build specialized digital resilience and technical expertise within the region.
