Hockey goaltenders Matt Jurusik and Adam Gajan join new teams

HK Nitra has strengthened its roster by signing 29-year-old American goaltender Matt Jurusik. Jurusik brings significant professional experience, having played in the KHL for Kunlun Red Star and Amur Khabarovsk, as well as in the AHL with the Texas Stars.

Meanwhile, Slovak goaltender Adam Gajan is moving to the ECHL. Following a two-year rookie contract with the Chicago Blackhawks, Gajan has been reassigned from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs to the Indy Fuel. The 22-year-old, who previously played for the University of Minnesota Duluth and represented Slovakia at the World Championships, aims to use the increased playing time in the ECHL to further his goal of reaching the NHL.
