Hockey India announces free entry for Asian Champions Trophy 2026

Hockey India has announced that spectators can attend the men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2026 for free. The tournament is scheduled to take place from October 27 to November 5 in Jalandhar and Mohali, Punjab.

A total of 20 matches will be held across two venues: the Olympian Surjit Singh Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar and the Olympian Balbir Singh Senior International Hockey Stadium in Mohali. All league-stage matches will be hosted in Jalandhar from October 27 to November 2, while the semi-finals and medal matches will be held in Mohali on November 4 and 5.

While entry is free, fans must register via the Ticketgenie website or mobile app to receive a digital pass with a QR code for stadium access. The initiative aims to increase fan engagement and make international hockey more accessible to families and young players in a region with a strong hockey tradition.

The tournament will feature six teams: India, Japan, China, Malaysia, South Korea, and Bangladesh. India is set to open the competition against Bangladesh on October 27.
