Hockeyettan players and clubs see roster shifts and injuries
The Swedish Hockeyettan league is seeing significant roster changes and structural updates as the season progresses. In Västervik, the club has signed veteran defenseman Filip Hedberg, who brings nearly 300 competitive matches of experience to the team. Sundsvall has also bolstered its lineup by acquiring forward talent Milo Fortkord from Rögle U20.
In Tranås, the team faces setbacks as forward Liam Svensson has departed to join rival HC Dalen, and defenseman Simon Lindblom is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to an injury requiring surgery.
Meanwhile, Virserum enters the new season under a revised league format featuring a longer regular season. Despite facing early challenges with player availability due to illness and injuries, Virserum secured a 4–0 victory in their season opener against Rydaholm.
