Hoda Riad released pending investigation into theft allegations

Authorities in Giza have released Hoda Riad, the wife of former Egyptian national team manager Hassan Shehata, pending further investigation. Her release follows a legal complaint filed by Shehata alleging the theft of personal belongings and financial documents.

The allegations include the loss of two Rolex watches, approximately 150,000 Egyptian pounds, three signed checks, and real estate documents related to properties in Marina and Agouza.

Legal counsel for Riad has denied the accusations, asserting her innocence and noting that the Agouza property is registered in her name. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
