Hodonín celebrates Dvorský pond fish harvest and gastronomy
In Hodonín, the Dvorský pond harvest is being celebrated as a traditional event combining fishing heritage with local gastronomy. Organized by Rybářství Hodonín, the event features approximately forty stalls offering various fish specialties, including carp fries, catfish sausages, and pike-perch dishes.
In addition to food, the event includes educational components such as exhibits from the House of Nature, where visitors can learn about pond ecosystems and try wading gear. The harvest serves as both a professional task for fishermen and a community festival for locals and families.
