Hofer launches low‑price fitness equipment sale in Slovenia

Discount retailer Hofer will run a special fitness‑gear promotion in Slovenia from 13 August. The offer includes a fold‑able Pilates board priced at €37.53, as well as a range of low‑cost sports apparel and accessories such as T‑shirts for €4.22, leggings for €6.67, sports bras for €6.15, shoes for €10.55 and UV‑protective sunglasses for €2.90. The promotion is part of Hofer’s annual themed offers that feature thousands of items across home, garden and leisure categories.

Health experts advise that the best time to start a regular exercise routine is now, rather than waiting for September. They stress the importance of forming consistent habits, recommending realistic weekly targets such as three 40‑minute walks. The World Health Organization’s guideline of 150–300 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week, plus muscle‑strengthening exercises twice weekly, is highlighted as a benchmark for maintaining cardiovascular health and overall well‑being.
