Hoi An introduces new cultural and musical tourism experiences

Hoi An is implementing new tourism strategies to encourage overnight stays and diversify visitor experiences. Traditionally a daytime destination, the city is addressing the lack of evening activities by introducing musical events in open-air settings, such as the Sea Sound Session at The Pearl Hoi An resort.

Additionally, a new cultural tour titled “Ve Cam Thanh - Nghe dua ke chuyen” (Returning to Cam Thanh - Listening to the Coconut Forest's Stories) is being developed at the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest. This tour aims to leverage local natural and cultural values by taking visitors through the forest via traditional basket boats. The experience will include performances of local folk arts, such as Bai Choi and traditional singing, while involving local residents in crafts like net mending and coconut leaf weaving to maintain authenticity.
