HOKA and BEAMS unveil 'Bondi 7 BEAMS' sneaker in Japan

Japanese fashion retailer BEAMS and performance footwear brand HOKA have launched their first joint product, the "Bondi 7 BEAMS" sneaker. The shoe, priced at ¥27,500, features a two‑tone camouflage upper inspired by Japanese zen gardens and dry‑land (kare‑sansui) designs. It will be sold in two colourways – white and brown – with sizes ranging from 23.5 cm to 30 cm.

The collaboration marks BEAMS' 50th anniversary. Pre‑orders begin on 7 August 2026 at BEAMS Harajuku and BEAMS BOY Harajuku stores, followed by wider sales from 8 August at BEAMS locations and the online shop. HOKA stores in Japan and the brand’s global outlets will start stocking the model on 14 August. A launch event on 7 August at the Harajuku store includes a live performance by contemporary artist Oga Ryoten, who interprets the garden aesthetic that inspired the shoe.
