Daiwa House Premist Dome to host one of Japan's largest murals

JAPAN AX PROJECT has announced the creation of one of Japan’s largest mural artworks, covering approximately 350 square meters at the entrance plaza of the Daiwa House Premist Dome. This initiative is the second installment of the ‘Red & Black Canvas’ art project led by the football club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo.

The mural, titled ‘Rising Guardian,’ will feature a powerful depiction of an owl, symbolizing the energy of the stadium and the identity of the north. Artist Kensuke Takahashi will perform live painting at the site, with the project scheduled for completion by September 10. The finished work is set to be unveiled on September 19, ahead of a J2 League match between Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and Oita Trinita.

The project is a collaborative effort involving Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, the Daiwa House Premist Dome, and Sapporo City, aiming to foster civic pride and provide cultural education through public art.
