Hokkaido Pasta Brand Expands to Tokyo and Yokohama
Two Hokkaido‑based Italian eateries opened in Japan this summer. On July 7, 2026, "北海道小麦の生パスタ 麦と卵" launched on the 8th floor of Tokyu Rise Dogwood Plaza in Setagaya, Tokyo. The shop produces fresh pasta in‑house using Hokkaido wheat and locally sourced eggs, offering dishes such as carbonara, tarako, and shrimp with butter‑soy sauce, priced from ¥1,080 to ¥1,380. Seating includes a seven‑seat counter and a 20‑seat table area.
A second location opened on July 22, 2026 in Yokohama’s Keikyu Department Store (Kanagawa). "北海道イタリアン ミア・ボッカ 上大岡" serves casual Italian fare made with Hokkaido ingredients, including 100% Hokkaido wheat pizza dough and Tokachi mozzarella. The restaurant provides a modern wood‑styled interior with 78 seats and a night‑view dining area. To celebrate, a three‑day “Hokkaido Margherita” promotion priced at ¥1,100 (regular ¥1,749) and a ¥100‑off voucher for future visits were offered.
