Hokkaido to host matching event for NPOs and corporations

A matching event titled ‘Hokkaido Matching Session’ is scheduled to take place in Sapporo on November 6, 2026. Organized by the Japan Non-profit Organization Support Center (JANPIA) and co-hosted by the Hokkaido NPO Fund and Hokkaido Embridge, the event aims to connect organizations utilizing dormant deposits with private companies.

The session will feature pitches and poster presentations by NPO groups, alongside dialogue sessions with corporate representatives. The goal is to foster collaborations involving human resources, supplies, funding, and technical expertise to address social issues within the Hokkaido region. This marks the first time such a matching event has been held in Hokkaido.
