Hokota City to host agricultural experience for VTuber fans

uyet Inc. has announced a new agricultural experience program titled ‘Nanashi no Hokota Shudan Quest’ in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Part of the ‘Machi Supacha Project,’ the initiative aims to connect VTuber fans, primarily in their 20s and 30s, with local communities to promote regional revitalization and food education.

Scheduled to take place over four days between December 2026 and January 2027, the program involves participants working with ‘Goemon. farm’ to experience the full process of carrot production, from harvesting to shipment preparation. Participants will also visit a farmers' market to observe delivery processes.

The project seeks to foster a sense of connection between young digital content consumers and rural areas, potentially expanding interest in local tax donation systems (furusato nozei) and regional agriculture.
