Hokuto Hall to open in Ichinomiya for end-of-life support

Hokuto Co., Ltd. will open ‘Hokuto Hall’ in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, on October 8, 2026. The facility is designed to support nursing home residents and their families through the end-of-life process.

Unlike a general funeral hall, Hokuto Hall specifically serves residents of Nursing Home Hokuto. It provides a single point of contact for various needs, including pre-death consultations, end-of-life care, funeral services, and administrative procedures required within approximately seven days of a death. The initiative aims to address concerns from residents without close relatives and families who struggle to manage administrative tasks while grieving.
